Three years later a Pakistani court has sentenced ten of the men who were involved in the 2010 shooting of Malala Yousafzai. All ten attackers have received twenty-five years in prison, which is considered a life sentence in Pakistan. Unfortunately the actual man who shot her, who pulled the trigger, is currently in hiding. John Iadarola (Think Tank) and Ben Mankiewicz (What The Flick?!) discuss this story. Do you think Malala’s attackers should’ve received the death penalty? Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“A court found 10 suspected militants guilty Thursday for their roles in the 2012 shooting of Malala Yousafzai, the young education activist who went on to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

The 10 men were sentenced to life imprisonment under Pakistan’s anti-terrorism laws, authorities said.

The trial was conducted in an anti-terrorism court in Malala’s hometown of Mingora, in northern Pakistan’s Swat District, reports said. Judge Mohammad Amin Kundi handed down the verdict.”*
