Point and Shoot is a documentary about a sheltered man in Baltimore taking on a remarkable motorcycle in North Africa and the Middle East that led him into becoming a rebel fighter in the Libyan Civil War. His travels took him to Morocco, Mauritania, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan and captured most of his adventures and learning lessons the hard way. Wounded and captured during the war, VanDyke spent nearly six months as a prisoner of war in two of Libya’s most notorious prisons, locked away in solitary confinement.

Two-time Academy Award nominated Point and Shoot Director Marshall Curry and Producer/Subject Matthew VanDyke sit with Jimmy Dore in the KPFK Studios for a frank and open discussion about the incredible journey.
