LOS ANGELES, March 2, 2016 – The Young Turks’ (www.TYTNetwork.com) coverage of Super Tuesday garnered the largest live audience in show history. The broadcast received 329,208 views online over the course of its five hours of live coverage, beating the Network’s ratings for its live coverage of the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primary last month.

Paired with the most recent comScore rankings placing The Young Turks ahead of major news networks with viewers aged 13-24 and 18-24, The Young Turks has continued to establish itself as the online destination for political coverage. According to comScore rankings from January, The Young Turks accounted for more than half (51%) of all news viewership among viewers aged 13-24.

Beginning at 7 p.m. ET, The Young Turks’ Super Tuesday coverage peaked in the third hour, from 9-10 p.m. Viewers tuned in for an average of 38:05, an increase from The Young Turks’ coverage of both the Iowa Caucus and New Hampshire primary.

The Young Turks’ coverage was anchored from the show’s Los Angeles studio by Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, John Iadarola and Jimmy Dore. Jordan Chariton contributed reports from Colorado and TYT Network hosts Sam Seder and Kyle Kulinski contributed from New York. The Young Turks has continued to set record views for their livestreamed coverage of this year’s key campaign and election events. During last month’s Iowa Caucus, The Young Turks’ seven-hour live broadcast marked the largest audience in show history at the time, garnering 256,000 views. The Young Turks’ coverage of the New Hampshire primary brought in 236,220 views, marking the second-largest audience at the time of the broadcast.

The Young Turks has a long history of daily livestreaming and recently celebrated 10 years of its daily live streamed show, making it the longest running show to be live streamed on a daily basis.

The Young Turks kicked off 2016 dominating online viewership among millennials, according to the most recent comScore rankings. For viewers aged 13-24 and 18-24, The Young Turks beat out CNN Politics, Fox News Politics, MSNBC and other major media outlets across desktop unique viewers and desktop video starts. With viewers aged 13-24, TYT Network accounted for over half of all News/Information Politics viewership (51%), with 989k desktop unique visitors.
