Exploding Kittens, created by The Oatmeal, is the most backed Kickstarter project ever. The project reached its goal of 10,000 dollars in minutes and within 24 hours, the funding had hit $1 million. On Tuesday, with 22 days to go and more than 107,000 backers pledging $4.2 million, it became the most-backed Kickstarter project of all time. Matthew Inman, creator of online comic The Oatmeal, Elan Lee, Former Chief Design Officer for Xbox Entertainment Studios, and Shane Small, Principal Art Director at Xbox Entertainment Studios, are responsible for launching the card game.
