Apple has just defeated a major antitrust lawsuit related to its early iPod models. After only three hours of deliberation, a federal jury decided that Apple did not in fact compete unfairly when it sold iPods and songs with software that was incompatible with other devices and competing online stores. locking people into using iPods and iTunes and overcharging for the devices.
