Did Ray Rice knock out Janay Rice because they were living in sin? According to a church leader, that’s the case. Bryan Fischer, Director of Issues Analysis for the Christian hate group, American Family Association (AFA) spoke about the incident during his “Focal Point” radio broadcast today. His particular “blame the victim” strategy was bible based.

“Ray Rice and his then fiancée were living in sin…”, says Fischer, “…they were violating God’s standard for sexual intimacy and for marital intimacy.” Fischer goes on to claim “social research” tells us “the single most dangerous place on the planet, for a woman, is when she is cohabiting, not married, to a guy.”
