  1. The real feminists were in the 90s and before, what exists now are ‘neofeminists’

who seek to stifle, silence, neuter, control, shame, and belittle men on every single

level (business, social, sexual, emotional, psychological, etc.) in an attempt to be

greater than / better than males. Most REAL feminists are ‘gender equalists’ in this

day and age (as am I). I believe in true equality, while most ‘feminists’ (neofeminists)

believe in female gender superiority, special privileges and rights, legal exceptions

and lighter sentencing in every form of crime imaginable. It’s disgusting and it needs

to stop. Feminism is not needed in this day and age, period. If you think it does, why

don’t you stop living in the first world and spend a few days in Egypt, Iraq, or even

China or Israel and see how women live in a 2nd and 3rd world country. Maybe then

you can focus your efforts THERE where they need it. You’re not ‘opressed’ and it’s a

disservice to women across the 2nd and 3rd world when you claim such shit : have

you ever been spit on for going to school? had acid thrown in your face for wanting

an education? or beaten by your community for wearing indecent clothing? stoned

by your father for having premarital sex? beheaded by your local priest because you

feel your religion is misogynist? not allowed to drive a vehicle because it could

damage your ‘lady parts’? fucking imbecilic women here in the USA don’t seem to

    understand what ‘oppression’ really is.

  2. It’s admirable and true that we should be sensitive to what our words do to people, but it’s anti-equality to assume that women will not become leaders if they’re called bossy. There’s an intellectual responsibility everyone has to identify when things presented under the pretense of furthering equality may go afield and damage it. Banning words is not a supportable idea.

    Those signs were agreeable enough.

  3. Hi guys, I don’t know for sure whether this has been covered before but isn’t it pretty obvious that the entire PR of feminism needs to evolve? Whereas previously I can imagine that explicit public recognition in the form of an explicit reference to target population (ie. women) might have been necessary, feminism no longer needs to be the movement it once was. It seems absurd to expect people to change their minds about a label that was founded off extremism and then simply ask them to revise their opinions of that label. Similarly in A TYT report on the new populist party it would seem much more practical to seek change through the more modern concept of equality broadly speaking and expand resources and reach in both financial and political ways. If feminists and those in this video were aiming for a more logical goal of equality, they would face less resistance. It’s that simple. We could of course argue that people should support their policies regardless of their title but in a world of information overload I think it is much to easy to overlook a good policy if a viewer can see a (metaphorical) flag of extremism dangling outside.

  4. John, you seem kind of hypocritical in this. How can you talk about how a lot of people have this misconception about feminism due to fringe groups and extremists being then loudest – and then immediately turn around and laugh and scoff at the MRA guy who asked your opinion on how the media misrepresents them? By saying he got drowned out by the 8/10 guys saying women suck? “Tone it down man”? What the hell dude? So when a feminist says something crazy she is part of the loud minority, but when a MRA says something crazy he is part of the majority and should be scoffed at?
You are literally what he is talking about when he says MRA’s get misrepresented in the media – how can the fair, logical majority of the group be heard, if you continue to misrepresent them as the crazy fringe groups? Just like you were talking about the feminists?
That’s pathetic John, seriously man. I always enjoy TYT because they have a reasonable, common sense approach to most ideas. Clearly you’re not one of TYT that should be looked up to. Have some integrity man.

    1. Most of the guys on TYT are as unsympathetic to the needs of males and male’s rights as David Pakman and his lackey are to the systematic evil of genital mutilation on boys (circumcision, yet, just like John, they claim that it’s a horror and evil for women to go through the same thing, yet for men it’s okay and almost funny / laughable) but of course, if a woman undergoes ‘genital mutilation’ it’s the end of the fucking world. I love TYT and I’ll always support them as being the best (for what we have) news show in the world, but most of the males on it are ‘alpha dogs’ and thus don’t give a shit about the plight of weaker males. It’s paladins like us that reach down to the downtrodden man and raise a shield against these neofeminist cunts seeking to redefine and neuter male thought and action.
