Megyn Kelly and Greta Van Susteren may be switching roles at Fox News; Cenk predicted this.  He also predicted that Republicans would begin to call for the impeachment of Obama over Benghazi.  Video of Mike Huckabee predicting that Obama won’t fill out his 2nd term due to the facts of Benghazi.  Everyday that Obama relentlessly reaches out to the GOP, he loses his base and never makes any ground with Republicans.  Gallup poll asked Americans who they think has too much power in the country.  #1 on the list is lobbyists, followed by major corporations, and then banks.  Dodd Frank made it so that financial institutions can’t use FDIC money for their derivative bets. Legislation is being introduced to repeal this regulation.  NY Atty General Eric Schneiderman spoke about the hubris of the banks and how the DOJ is going after them for continuing to break the law.  Fed Investigators are looking into interest-rate swaps that were fixed at the expense of the American taxpayers.  The enforcers are afraid of coming down on the banks over potential “collateral consequences.”

Limbaugh is losing advertisers at a large scale, about to lose Cumulus Media.  Another story of a 3 year old kid that accidentally shot and killed himself with his uncle’s gun.  Tom Coburn introduced 2 pro-gun amendments that will seemingly pass.  The 1st plastic 3D printed gun, The Liberator, has been fired successfully in an ad.  This will make it even easier for anyone to have a gun.  The creator acknowledges that it this could be increasingly dangerous, but liberty is more important.  The CIA had direct feedback to the makers of Zero Dark Thirty on what they wanted out of the movie that made them look bad.

A power plant in Michigan has a “slight leakage” problem, but we’re assured by the regulators that there is nothing to see here.  Pat Brady, the GOP Chair in Illinois, has decided to step down after the Party came after him for supporting gay marriage as a personal opinion.

Three Ohio women that have been missing for 10 years were found.  A friend of one of the women appeared on America’s Most Wanted to tell the story of the last time she saw her friend on the day of the kidnapping.  The hero-neighbor of the rescue spoke with the media about his experience.  Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild has been convicted of false imprisonment of a few women, among other charges after he met them at a bar.  The 16 and pregnant cast member turned porn star’s sex tape surpassed Kardashian’s by a lot.  This is causing many to wonder if she’ll be the next Kim Kardashian.

A woman wrote an op-ed about how she waited for marriage to have sex, but regretted it, and got a divorce, partially due to how bad her husband was in the bedroom.  Cenk doesn’t like this woman because she seemed to be putting him down throughout the article.  TYT Supreme Court decides it as a tie.

May 7, 2013 Hour 1

Mark Sanford defeats Colbert-Busch in the special election for the empty House seat in South Carolina.  After the SC Dem Chairman hoped that Nikki Haley gets sent back to where ever the hell she came from, Harpootlian tried to clarify his comments on MSNBC, claiming that he didn’t mean it that way.  Sen Jeff Flake back pedaled and claimed that he has always been in favor of background checks, and that he’d vote for a bill containing one if it had one change for internet sales between friends.  The Armed Forces continue the push to eliminate the rampant sexual assaults in their ranks.  In a pamphlet on the issue from the Air Force, they suggest that the victim not fight, but submit to their attacker.

Chris Christie had lap band surgery back in February and he denies that he did it to help out his presidential aspirations.  Saxby Chambliss scored a hole in one while golfing with Obama and talking about legislation.  He jokingly said that due to his feat, Obama should let them do what they want on entitlement reform.  A pro-gun group proposed a march on Washington with loaded guns and talk of embracing violence with the government.  After some light was shone on their foolish plan, the tone of their anger was significantly lessened.

The Tsarnaev family is having a hard time finding a funeral home to bury Tamerlan’s body.  An offensive greeting card features a Muslim doll with terrorist themed puns.  Former football player Leroy Butler tweeted Congrats to Jason Collins before speaking at a church event.  The pastor caught wind of the tweet and canceled his appearance over the sentiments.  A study showed that 30% of all data transferred across the internet is porn. A Japanese woman has done extensive plastic surgery to look like a French doll.  Lindsay Lohan was interviewed by Piers Morgan and claimed she is completely straight, despite her relationship with a woman.  Gina talks about her podcast partner’s serious exploration into being gay for one summer where he slept with guys and dated others before determining that he isn’t gay.  Honey Boo Boo’s mother got married yesterday in a disastrous wedding gown with camouflage print.  Cenk is convinced that reality TV is completely unreal.  Fish have been discovered that breathe out of water.

May 6, 2013 Hour 1

Obama spoke at Ohio State’s commencement ceremony, daring the graduates to dream bigger.  Cenk is annoyed that he wants the younger generation to do better and try when he won’t.   As he continues to go along with Republican plans and getting screwed by the result, Cenk’s blood pressure rises.  Bangladesh is on fire due to the dispute over passing a law that would make it illegal to take part in blasphemy.  It has been revealed that the fertilizer plant in West, TX only had $1 million of liability insurance, leaving the bill to the taxpayers.  A man in Minnesota was busted before he could carry out a terrorist plot on citizens of the community.  Cenk points out that if he weren’t a White man named Buford Rogers, there would be another Muslim terrorist scare permeating through the country.

NRA Convention over the weekend provided a lot of crazed talk, headlined by Glenn Beck.  Zombie Industries, a gun target company, made a zombie target that looks like President Obama.  Video of their demonstration shooting the target named “Barry” to pieces.  Ted Cruz spoke to the NRA convention about how much the Constitution matters.  He also went on to challenge Joe Biden to a debate on guns and safety.  Cenk predicts that Ted Cruz will cause a huge national problem.  Harry Reid is planning on re-introducing background check legislation after seeing how negatively Senators that voted no were affected.  A 13 year old Florida boy shot his 6 year old sister while they were unattended.  Video of a Crickett ad marketing guns for kids.

The man in charge of the US Air Force sexual assault prevention program has been charged with sexual assault.  Confusion over chemical weapons in Syria.  A commission reported that the rebels may have used sarin gas.

Dave Rubin joins Cenk and Ben for SCS.  Audio of the Reese Witherspoon police argument.  One of the stars of Teen Mom made a sex tape, and made a video explaining why.  Discussion of the integrity of porn and reality show celebrity.  A new Danish TV show has a woman strip in front of two men as they critique her body. A study showed that the people who are anti-gay, associated gay images more with themselves than others.  Discussion of the Kinsey Scale and how straight men have more to prove at all times. Justin Bieber paused and prayed during a concert in Turkey.  Howard Kurtz was fired from the Daily Beast for criticizing Jason Collins for being dishonest about his one-time engagement to a woman.  The reality is that he did reveal his engagement.  CNN is even reviewing his contract over this.

May 3, 2013 Hour 1

Glenn Beck proposed that a gun suicide in an airport was a false flag operation set up by the government to impose gun controls.  Hannity had guests on to talk about how the Obama Administration is trying to cleanse the military of Christians. A high school track athlete won a big race and pointed to the sky as he crossed the finish line.  Due to this showing, his win was stripped and isn’t allowed to participate in the state competition he qualified for.  Matthew Heimbach, the head of a White Supremacist student organization at Towson Univ, showed up at a May Day event to protest, and had urine thrown at him.  The fascist Golden Dawn party in Greece put on a food drive to benefit native Greeks only. When opponents stood up to them, one member of the party threw a punch that landed on a teenaged girl’s forehead. Cenk announces that TYT won the Webby Award, but the award was given to Huffington Post by the Webby Academy.  Megyn Kelly tried the new Google Glasses and accidentally brought up some dirty dialogue from American Pie on live TV.  Many devout Christians don’t care about global warming and destroying the planet because the end times are coming anyway.

May 2, 2013 Hour 1

Story of company that sells guns to kids.  New President of NRA Jim Porter. (Wayne LaPierre is the Executive President, the face of the organization.)  VIDEO of Jim Porter talking about the Civil War.  VIDEO of police action against May Day protestors in Seattle.  Cenk rants about anarchism.  Bangladesh building collapse killed 400 people.  In Bangladesh the government is actually taking action against the owners and engineers.  In the US, like in West, Texas, nothing is done to punish the responsible.

Cenk gives the Pope credit for calling the situation in Bangladesh “slave labor”.  Obama and Guantanamo prison.  It’s a gulag run by the US.  Obama fights ruling that seeks to allow Plan B to younger girls.  Sibelius over-ruled FDA scientists, but the court sided with FDA, and now Obama will appeal the court ruling.  He screws over this base, then comes up with a weak compromise.

Woman on Fox News says reason and enlightenment are bad.  Video of a guy on Fox who ranted against muslims.  An Iraq war vet who is black and muslim, is now a cab driver in VA. He picked up a fare of a rich guy who ranted against muslims then hit the driver, and he’s being charged only with a misdemeanor.
