Update on the Atheist woman that was asked by Wolf Blitzer if she thanks the Lord for surviving the tornado.  A fundraising account was created to help her out, and $50K was already raised.  The Boy Scouts have finally allowed gay scouts into the organization.  Scout leaders still aren’t allowed.  Vice Documentary on a new drug popping up in Greece called Sisa.

Evangelicals are rethinking the vehement nature they portray the loss of a woman’s virginity before marriage.  Some pharmaceutical companies are experimenting with bear bile to help some condition.  The manner in which they go about extracting the bile is horrific.  A new ad campaign to get young men to own up to their responsibility depicts young guys as pregnant.  TYT Supreme Court decides whether or not this is an effective ad.  TYT viewers responded with their thoughts.  NY Times Magazine featured a super skinny model, causing an uproar.  A divorce clerk in China claims to have prevented 500 divorces by telling feuding couples that their printer isn’t working, so they have to go home, causing them to think about it.  In many cases, they never came back, allowing them to stay together.  A man sent an orgie to his female neighbor’s house by posing as her on craigslist, asking for a bunch of random men to show up for sex.  When they did, she wasn’t amused.  He has been charged with identity theft.

New proposals in Congress to weaking financial regulations; proposals were written by bank lobbyists, of course.  Average CEO pay continues to break records. Lanny Breuer, whose job was to prosecute bankers, explained why he didn’t pursue these criminals and outlined that he’s worried about other banks coming to get him for taking down their cohorts.

Analogy about drug dealers being prosecuted while bankers walk free for their crimes.  A bridge in Washington state collapsed last evening.  It was on a list of bridges labeled “functionally obsolete.”  All of the state’s bridges get a grade of C-.  The debate over whether or not tornado relief for Oklahoma should be offset by spending cuts before funds are administered.  Sen Tom Coburn called it typical Washington B.S.  Lack of safe rooms or tornado shelters in Moore, OK.

The new Pope Francis has declared that Atheists can make it into Heaven.  House Republicans passed a bill that would cause students rates to go up over time. The DCCC created a simple ad pointing out their attack on students with loans.  Elizabeth Warren proposed that students pay what we comically charge the banks, a rate of .75%.  Conservatives lost their minds at this reasonable proposal.  Bernie Sanders proposed allowing his state of Vermont to label foods with GMOs, but was greeted with lies and manipulation in opposition by paid-off senators.  Progress report of states that are pursuing an amendment to get money out of politics.

The heckler Medea Benjamin of Code Pink during Obama’s speech.  Ana’s experience at a gun range this morning.  Kaitlyn Hunt, 18 year old girl in Florida facing charges for having sex with a minor girl.  TYT Supreme Court about whether she should take a plea deal or not.  A 27 year veteran at a local news station fired for a statement on his personal Facebook account saying that the IRS was pressuring him after an interview with Obama.  Ricky Gervais made fun of Christians in an Oklahoma tornado tweet, and got in trouble.

Mayor Rahm Emmanuel of Chicago is shutting down 53 public schools, mostly with black student populations.  There is a 9-year old boy who spoke out eloquently against this plan VIDEO.  Rahm Emmanuel is doing a lousy job.  A Game of Thrones actress is complaining about nudity on the show.  Cenk is glad he wasn’t an actor because he doesn’t want to kiss men.  Marijuana can make you thinner, impacting your insulin.  Singles-only public transportation. “It’s Obama’s fault” meme.   Member shout outs.

Obama’s speech on terrorism, the post-9/11 mentality, drone strikes etc.  Speech sounds good, but Cenk’s not buying it.  Look at the numbers of terrorist killed vs. civilians killed, including children.  Obama didn’t distinguish between personality strikes and signature strikes, when you don’t know who you are hitting.  And no mention of double taps.  VIDEO of Obama bragging that we don’t kill as many civilians as the terrorists do. And he uses a false choice that it’s either drone strikes or nothing.  Obama says conventional weapons or invasions would be worse options.  Obama says he doesn’t support targeting American citizens, but makes exceptions for al Awlaki.  The actions don’t live up to the rhetoric.  Don’t believe that this speech marks a change until we see the change.  Dissecting the Osama bin Laden raid and assassination.  Obama talking about briefing Congress about drone strikes.  VIDEO of Obama talking about closing Gitmo, which should never have been opened in the first place.

Obama talking about security leak investigations and a free press (AP scandal).  Obama talks about protecting journalists, but a few years ago he killed a media shield law.  The only thing Obama was completely right on was saying Muslims are part of the American family.  Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly cat fight.  John McCain vs. Senator Mike Lee cat fight about debt ceiling and budgetary issues.

Kristen Anderson is part of the Iowa GOP caucus, and filed a sexual harrassment claim, and she was fired.  London soldier attacks were by two people of Nigerian origin, one born in England, converts to Islam.  Update on Boston bomber friend shot dead by FBI – he had a knife and attacked the agent.

Golfer Sergio Garcia made a racist joke about Tiger Woods, referring to fried chicken.  His apology included that the joke wasn’t meant in a racist manner. Jayar chimes in.  A lesbian couple in Texas is not able to live together due to a morality clause in a previous divorce one of them went through.  Surprisingly, the gay parent capital of the country is Salt Lake City, UT.  An AZ St Rep has refused to do a prayer during public meetings. A woman in NYC walks around topless because its legal, as long as lude acts aren’t being done.  She was arrested and put in a mental facility.  The most recent female version of Viagra is a pill. The NY Times article about this wondered why men want it when women don’t.  Courts have been utilizing Urban Dictionary to understand what the young kids are saying nowadays.

In South London, two men attacked a soldier returning from his barracks, butchering him with knives.  When people filmed them, one addressed the camera to explain their motivations.  The country is considering it an act of terrorism.  As of today, the U.S. government has killed 4 American citizens in drone strikes overseas.  An acquaintance of Tamerlan Tzarnaev was brought in for questioning by the FBI, who eventually shot him to death.  They claimed that he charged one of the officers, injuring him & forcing him to shoot.

The anatomy of a journalistic leak vs. the scenario the DOJ describes to indict Julian Assange.  Fox News didn’t have any problem with this when it was focused on Assange, but now that its been exposed that they have targeted their own James Rosen, they are outraged.  Fox and Friends mentioned that when positive news about the Admin is leaked, its celebrated, but when its not flattering, someone gets wiretapped.  Video of McConnell agreeing with the Admin’s decision to probe the AP over potential national security leaks.

It has been exposed that the Apple company has only paid 2% in taxes on billions in overseas income.  The CEO of Apple was brought in front of a Senate panel to be questioned about it, and Rand Paul gushed over the company and vehemently defended them.  Paul is going on a fundraising tour in Silicon Valley next week.  He also went on a tirade about how high our corporate tax code is.
