A recent post on Reddit broke down the odds of making it the NFL and the results were shockingly low. Over 1 million athletes play football in high school. Those fortunate enough to play at the collegiate level (6.5% of the aforementioned million), only 1.6% of that remaining group make it to the NFL. To perceive this number even more, those who make the NFL play for an average career span of 3 years. The odds are against you if you are trying to make an NFL roster one day, but that does not mean you should simply give up on your dream if it is to play!
