The Associated Press is under fire for the way they tweeted about Amal Clooney. They referred to her as “actor’s wife” which seems to ignore her vast accomplishments as a human rights lawyer. Yet, on Saturday, when the Associated Press penned a tweet about Amal Clooney (née Alamuddin), they chose not to identify her by her many achievements but instead by her marriage to actor George Clooney.”

Defining a woman by her relationships is inherently sexist. It may also make business sense. that’s never been an excuse before.
