Robert McCullough has read the grand jury decision regarding Darren Wilson shooting and killing an unarmed man by the name of Michael Brown. Ferguson Missouri is in dealing with protests, and some violence after the decision. I share my thoughts.

  1. I just watched your show on the Ferguson shooting. I will admit now i am a police officer so let’s get that out of the way. The problem I see with the general public analyzing this is a lack of knowledge of law enforcement and training so they/you don’t have a context of the actions by the officer. Using “common sense” is not reliable because you have no “common experience” in this area and therefor the conclusions can be misleading. Knowing how the officer was trained and why those actions are taught may give you a better understanding of those actions. The standard for using deadly force is “a reasonable fear of an immanent life threatening battery” for you or others. Nothing in the evidence or officer’s statement contradicts that. Unlike the varying witness statements Officer Wilson’s statement is consistent with the physical evidence. That is why is had credibility and not charged.

  2. So sad and so much hypocrite going on in this word. You would think something like this happens oversea or somewhere far but it happens in the only neighbour country and even in my backyard.
Every time I look at the news, it’s either police brutality, killing, power abuse, and it’s the low and middle classes that ended up paying the most (whether financially, emotionally, or physically).

Why don’t the conservative/white mass come out and said: “we are racist”.
Why don’t the police force come out and said “we are LAW and will be your jury, judge, and executioner”?
Why don’t the Republican/Conservative come out and said: “we don’t care about you and we are NOT give you one dime more”?
As much as we progressive fight for the democracy, we are in the era of the decline of human race. They can white wash all history they want, history is repeating itself. Look at the Roman Empire or the Greek and even the Chinese.

    Last but not least…

My heart went out for Michael’s mother whom for 18 years raised this boy to be a man. All the moments of love and trial of raising a child to see him grows up to have an accomplished life.
My heart went out for Michael who would no longer have a future and may he rests in peace.
My heart went out for Darrell’s family who is celebrating that they have killer among them.
My heart went out for Darrell’s soul who is lost for “thou shall not kill” (10 commandments)

    1. This has got to be the most incoherent rambling on a message board I have ever seen.

I feel bad for Michael Brown’s family but one thing is clear. Michael Brown is dead because of Michael Brown. This was not police brutality and this surely wasn’t someone acting as judge, jury, and executioner.

Officer Wilson was the victim. He was doing his job and in the process was attacked by a criminal. Michael Brown assaulted him and tried to take his gun. Then, after initially running away, turned around and tried to attack him again. Officer Wilson did what any sane person would do in that situation…he opened fire.
