“At the culmination of a tumultuous day, President Obama spoke from the White House on the decision made in Ferguson not to prosecute the police officer who shot and killed an 18-year-old black man in August.

“We need to accept that this decision was the grand jury’s to make,” Obama said Monday night. “There are Americans who agree with it, and there are Americans who are deeply upset, even angry. It’s an understandable reaction. But I join Michael’s parents in asking anyone who protests this decision to do so peacefully.”

A St. Louis County grand jury decided not to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of Michael Brown, the unarmed 18-year-old who was killed by Wilson’s gunfire in August. County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch announced the news Monday evening in a press conference.”* The Young Turks hosts John Iadarola (TYT University), Ben Mankiewicz and Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show) break it down.
