“An angry man was caught on video last week attacking a fellow passenger at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, apparently because he thought the man was gay. But then, a group of bystanders, including a man in a cowboy hat, quickly took action to bring the man down, according to the video.

WARNING: The video, and description below, contain some NSFW language.

Before the fight, the man in the cowboy hat tries to intervene.” *

  1. Raging homophobe just because he called a guy who was filming him a ‘fag’? About a pink shirt – where the fuck was this about a pink shirt? The guy was filming him and clearly teasing him at the end there. Doesn’t excuse the violence, but the text and commentary on this vid is directly misleading. Btw, taken down by a cowboy-hat wearing bystander??? On which planet did that happen?

And what the fuck is up with asking for more TSA at the airport?? You want them in your underwear at the check-in counter as well?

  2. First, the guy in the pink was taking photos of the attacker, possibly instigating this. Second, the attacker went and talked to the cowboy, and the cowboy did nothing, when it was just him. Third, the guy in the pink shirt didn’t leave it alone, and went over and started talking to him again. Fourth, NOBODY went to find security. Fifth, it took more then just the cowboy to take him down. Sixth, not sure it was a homophobe situation just because he’s throwing around certain remarks. Seventh, you ask for more security, be careful what you wish for. And so much more, you want objective views, hire me.

Just looking at this from an open mind, I was disappointed in these three not being objective in their observation of the video. Seems they just made this a homophobe situation.

    1. Objectivity requires observable facts. One the guy in the pink was taking pictures true..we have no idea why.. That potentially instigating the other man is subjective and can in no way be confirmed. Maybe since that was caught on video, the accosting man had done something that warranted having his picture taken but as this is subjective as well. Two: The cowboy did do something. He stood in a defensive posture while what appeared to be an irate man encroached upon his personal space. (Was he suppose to attack him then or be the one in charge to calm him down.?) The guy in the pink did walk over as you said but we may never know why. Maybe he feared the other man was trying to solicit help against him. After all he did assault him when he grabbed his arm while he was still at the counter. Observable objective fact based on legal definition of assault. Fourth: You are right no one went to find security. There were already there but did nothing to deescalate the situation. Fifth: The guy was easily 6 foot and 230 or more so of course it took more than one person to take him down. Sixth; Regardless of why you assault someone who has not touched you, you deserve to be taken down. Seventh: quality of security is more important than number as your comment suggests. MR Miagi would agree and if he was there none of this would have happened.
