“Fresh off his retirement of Congress, following a devastating defeat in the primaries, Eric Cantor is reportedly jumping into a cozy Wall Street investment firm.

On Monday, the Wall Street Journal reported that the former Jewish majority leader is set to join investment bank Moelis as vice chairman and board member at the firm effective this week. He is also set to receive a $1.4 million signing bonus, according to the Financial Times.

Cantor, who will continue to live in Virginia, will open a new office for the firm in Washington, in addition to having an office at the company’s headquarters in New York City.”* The Young Turks host Cenk Uygur breaks it down.
