What if Our Lives Lagged as Badly as Our Internet Connections?

Living With Lag is a short documentary from Swedish internet provider UmeNet that artificially slowed the vision of people wearing Oculus Rifts to simulate what life would be like if people lagged as badly as potentially throttled internet connections. The result wasn’t ground-breaking (spoiler alert: lag sucks), but it was an interesting take on the idea of lag. Kim Horcher discusses Living with Lag, while Tim Frisch and Ivan Van Norman (Creator of Outbreak: Undead and Outbreak: Deep Space) test out Speech Jammer, which lags sound and therefore, vocal audio.
