iPhone’s Siri Helps Killer Hide A Body

“A Florida man suspected of strangling his friend to death after a fight over a former lover was confronted by an unusual accuser — the iPhone’s digital assistant Siri.

CBS Miami reported that prosecutors on Tuesday showed a screen capture of Pedro Bravo’s iPhone that indicated Siri had been asked, “I need to hide my roommate.” To which Siri answered:

“What kind of place are you looking for?” Siri replied, providing as possible locations “swamps,” “reservoirs,” “metal foundries,” and “dumps.”

But Bravo’s attorney retorted that the image might not have been from the defendant’s phone. Shelby Webb, a reporter for the Herald Tribune, noted that Bravo’s phone was an iPhone 4. Siri was a feature of a later version of the iPhone, the 4S. And the man he allegedly killed was not his roommate.” *

  1. Good video but I have to shed some more facts on the case of what happened that night.
Christian Aguilar was NOT Pedro Bravo’s roommate. Christian was the current boyfriend of Pedro’s ex-girlfriend and he lived in the dorms at University of Florida. Pedro was going to a college near the University of Florida.

Pedro was accused of being the murder because he was the last known person who saw Christian. Pedro was known to be suicidal and suffering from depression, Christian knowing that Pedro had problems with him going out with Pedro’s ex girlfriend and ignored the warnings from several friends including his girlfriend to not be alone with him. Christian wanted to help out a friend suffering from this and hoping that he can help and probably kill the tension between them.

Pedro drugged Christian because Christian was about 6ft in stature and Pedro was below 5’7 knowing that he had to weaken Christian to kill him. Pedro was really bad at covering his tracks and police ended up finding his personal journal, blood in his car, Christian’s bookbag, and a bad alibi and story to police to go with it and that changed over time.
