The Israeli-Palestinian conflict provokes powerful emotions no matter which side your views fall. Here is a must-see discussion unlike any you’ll see on any other media outlet. All sides are represented. Passions emerge but sanity and civility remain.

“A Gaza cease-fire quickly unraveled Friday as violence erupted in a southern town in the war-ravaged strip, killing at least 44 Palestinians. The Israeli military said two soldiers were killed and an infantry officer was feared captured during fighting.

Israel and Hamas accused each other of breaking the cease-fire, which had been announced by the U.S. and the U.N. and took effect at 8:00 a.m. Friday. The fighting broke out less than two hours later.

The breakdown of the truce and the apparent capture of the Israeli soldier set the stage for a major escalation of the 25-day-old conflict, which has already devastated large swaths of the coastal area and killed at least 1,500 Palestinians, mainly civilians, according to Palestinian officials. Israel has lost 63 soldiers and three civilians.”* The Young Turks hosts Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian, Jimmy Dore (The Jimmy Dore Show), and Dave Rubin (The Rubin Report) break it down.

  1. Fascinating, I am Jewish and I find both arguments have great merit. If the palestinians rockets were more accurate and killing more Israeli civilians perhaps I would not be to upset if they bombed the school where rockets were being launched and there were some families. Yes, the children and families would die, but, what else can you do. Otherwise, the Palestinians would send rockets and have families around the area. The question is to hard to answer without the experience or proper knowledge. I agree with Chenk…
