As a followup to my previous post, how would making the AR-15 illegal stop this mall shooter from making bigger and deadlier bombs. Bombs are already illegal and have been for sometime, including the components. He was willing to manufacture something illegal so what would have stopped him from owning an AR-15 illegally?
Why does it matter if he owned 6,000 rounds at home? Is this some sort of character attack? He didn’t and couldn’t carry them all with him. This is emotive language and an argument from ignorance and it is shameful as a news agency to do this. As bad as Fox news is, you are just as bad when it comes to the topic of firearms.
Wow Cenk, you admitted that you know so little and also say that the “magazine” of high capacity used to be illegal. NO IT WAS NOT. The 30 round magazine was always legal even under the “assault weapons ban”. They only way it was illegal was for companies to make or import news ones. All the old one could still be owned, used, sold, and transferred.
How do you think you get away with telling these lies? You say on your show CONSTANTLY how the Republicans don’t have facts but you seems to have the same problem.
You want to have legislation drafted up about a topic you are ignorant of. This mentality stands in the way of good debate and real problem solving action.
